Add proper heat management
Right now it seems that when the OMAP5 reaches a critical temperature level, it lowers the CPU speed to an absolute minimum until the temperature lowers significantly.
This doesn't make sense - as it unnecessarily slows down the system a lot.
Ideally, there should be a watchdog that watches the temperature and dynamically lower the CPU speed so that it never reaches a critical temperature level.
This would allow running programs at maximum speed possible and doesn't cause sudden slowdowns.
Is there a daemon / program that can do that for Linux already? Do we need to create our own one?
